I hope that everyone had a restful day off yesterday as Mother Nature surprised us with a snow day. Things at IA have been running smoothly and we are loving the student progress we are seeing. The following is what is coming up at IA:
No School on Monday - please remember that there is no school on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Field Trip - we will be taking a group of students to the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday, January 20th. There are just a few spots open so if you are interested, you must let your mentor or Jay McDowell know asap. You must be at the school by 8:30 am. You will be returning at 2:00 pm so if you are in the morning cohort, make sure to have transportation home, pre-arranged.
Senior Focus Day - our next Senior Focus Day is Friday, January 30th. Seniors must be in attendance for one-on-one instruction/focus to make sure that you are on track for graduation. All seniors must have their standards completed by Friday, May 8th in order to graduate and not need to do a 5th year.
